The world milk day was observed in the LA township by kind courtesy of Milksi Ghana (promasidor Ghana limited) in collaboration with Dance 4 Change Ghana with activities like drumming and dancing focusing on promoting the value of milk and illustrating the importance role Promasidor Ghana played in the national economy. This even was hosted at the la manjraanor on the 1st June 2019,
The world milk day was designed by FOA to celebrate the importance of milk on first of June every year.
The day provided an opportunity to focus attention on milk and raise awareness of dairy's part in healthy diets ,responsible food production and supporting livelihoods and communities.
The event included testing and donation of milksi products and stationeries to Dance4Change Ghana an NGO that aim to fulfil basic educational needs of deprived children through social development program by awarding scholarship in the community.this event was sponsored by milksi Ghana (Promasidor Ghana)
The Manager of Milksi Ghana stressed on the importance of the role that milk and education play's in child development.
